Brazed plate heat exchangers

Present the simplest, efficient and cost-effective type of heat exchanger, which is normally standardized, i.e. produced in standard sizes using standard brazing technology. Their construction design and technology put certain limits to their power and quality of heat transfer fluids. Therefore, such heat exchangers are mainly used in simpler heat transfer fields, which do not require a high level of security.

Gasketed plate heat exchangers

Gasketed plate heat exchangers are the most frequently used type of heat exchanger. 

Their wide range of possible sizes and plate configurations enables their application in most fields, including HVAC, district heating, cooling and residual heat solutions; food-, chemical and marine industry, and many other spheres. Openability of the heat exchangers enables their easy cleaning, expansion and adjustment by either adding or replacing plates as required by the new operating conditions of a heat exchanger.

Semi-welded plate heat exchangers

Such heat exchangers are mainly used in superheated and high pressure environments, also in case of hazardous fluids (e.g. ammonia), where any loss of fluid in the heat exchanger is unacceptable. In such cases fluid leakage in the heat exchanger is prevented by using a set of interwelded plates.

Fully welded plate heat exchangers

These heat exchangers are used in extreme temperatures, pressures and conditions, when heat exchangers with ordinary gaskets cannot be used without exceeding the prescribed  limits. Such heat exchangers are notable for their better long-term durability, resistance and compactness, while ensuring high-efficiency performance in many extreme environments involving superheated steam, gas or fluid.

Spiral heat exchangers

This type of heat exchanger is used in many fields of industry, especially in certain industrial processes. Its design makes it perfectly suitable for treating such heavy liquids as waste water, mud, viscous liquids, heavily polluted liquids, and liquids containing solid particles. Since this type of heat exchanger is intended for application of such specific liquids, it has a facilely openable and cleanable structure. Another important feature of this type of heat exchanger  is compactness, which gives it an essential advantage over the common tube heat exchanger.
